I have often said that if I couldn't travel, I think I would shrivel up and die. It is one of my great passions in life. On all of my trips, I take along a leather-bound journal in which to write. Sometimes, I write it in every day. Other times, I get caught up in the moment and make some sketchy notes after the fact. You'll notice that some of these reports are very detailed (maybe too much so!) and others are just highlights. Most of them have already been posted on online travel forums & boards, so you might notice references to those - it also explains the language informality. Regardless, I hope there is some useful information you can glean on hotels, restaurants and sightseeing if you happen to be visiting one of these great places in the future.
